Igor Kovač was born on November 23, 1983 in Vukovar. After he graduated from the Jesuit Classical Gymnasium in Osijek he startes studying at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb in 2004. He graduated in 2009 and since then has performed as a free-lance artist on many stages in Zagreb. He joined the ensemble of the Croatian National Theatre Ivan pl. Zajc in Rijeka in 2011. He has been a full time member of ''Gavella'' Theatre's ensemble since 2015.
